Sarah is a Junior at the University of Dayton studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Studies. This past summer, she interned with the EPA Office of Environmental Justice in Washington D.C. She is an advocate for the environment on campus through various clubs and civic engagement programs. She wrote for a National Fashion Blog on Fair Trade and Sustainable Fashion alternatives. She served full time at a nonprofit that works with the homeless population to provide job training through urban agriculture. In the future, she hopes to address the disproportionate environmental burdens on marginalized communities.
