Matt Rogers grew up in Savannah, Ga and holds a Culinary Arts Degree from Johnson and Wales along with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management, and a MBA from Southern Wesleyan. Today Matt resides in Wilmington, NC where he is the Resident District Manager for Aramark, overseeing dining operations for the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Matt serves on the board for Feast Down East (a non-profit focused on developing a local food economy for small undersized farmers). Matt and his wife Alison live in a historical home in downtown Wilmington where raise their two children, Ethan and Emma, and operate a small urban farm including chickens, turkeys, tilapia, and hydroponics. Matt is also currently pursuing a doctorate in Sustainability Education from Prescott College.
