Bradley Petrella

StudentUniversity of Dayton

Bradley will graduate from the University of Dayton (UD) in spring 2018 with a double major in International Studies and Spanish, minors including Human Rights Studies, and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit and Community Leadership. He has been lead organizer of UD’s Fair Trade Campaign since his sophomore year, working with other students, staff, and administrators to build support for fair and ethical sourcing and purchasing at the university. Bradley has also volunteered at a Fair Trade retail store and while studying abroad in Costa Rica, had the opportunity to visit CoopeTarrazú, a coffee cooperative that’s Fair Trade Certified. Experiences like visiting CoopeTarrazú and hearing from Fair Trade advocates around the world keep him inspired to continue advocating for Fair Trade beyond graduation. In the meantime, Bradley joined the National Student Leadership Committee in January 2018 and is thrilled to contribute to Fair Trade advocacy across the nation. He also enjoys watching and playing sports, especially soccer, being engaged in his community, learning languages, and having good conversations.
