Program Coordinator, Department of Environmental Studies and the Sustainability ProgramRollins College

Ann Francis has been at Rollins College for 22 years and received her Bachelors in Environmental Studies in 2001 at the Rollins College Hamilton Holt Evening Program. Francis is the program coordinator for the Department of Environmental Studies working closely with the department professors and up to 80 majors. Under the umbrella of the Sustainability Program, she works directly with student sustainability coordinators on campus recycling, environmental and sustainable events, sustainability housing, a campus urban farm, campus bicycle share program and fair trade! She spearheaded Rollins Fair Trade designation in 2013.

Francis is chair of the Rollins Committee on Environmental and Sustainable issues and co-chaired the National Fair Trade Steering Committee for Colleges and Universities for 2 years. With her work in the department and the sustainability program, she promotes environmental and sustainable responsibility and awareness on the campus.
